The first rehearsal date for the choir will be Sunday, March 8^th 4-6PM at Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church.

Festival Choir (Singers Welcome)
We are forming a Festival Choir and warmly invite singers from all congregations to participate. Rehearsals will follow a regular cadence, likely Sundays from 4:00–6:00 pm. Some songs benefit from sight-reading, others do not, and voice parts for most music will be provided. The choir is designed to be joyful, challenging, and deeply communal, and we encourage you to invite singers from across your congregation.

Congregational Musical Offerings
We are also seeking musical contributions from individual congregations to be offered as part of the Festival program. These offerings may reflect your own tradition. Contributions are typically 3–5 minutes, and we will not curate unless participation requires it.

Children’s Choir
We are hoping to include a children’s choir this year. Most rehearsals would take place within home congregations, with two joint rehearsals bringing everyone together. Children up to age 15 are invited, and older youth are welcome to assist. Parental consent will be required, and parents and caregivers are warmly invited to help with supervision during rehearsals and the Festival. If you know children who would like to participate and will not have home congregation support, please let me know! We are working on solutions for all interested children.
